Ideally we are looking for an experienced Level 3 person with a commitment to providing high quality care and education for the children attending our ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted January 2015) pre-school. We would however consider a Level 2 if they were of the right calibre and prepared to embark on level 3* training as soon as possible.
This in an opportunity to be part of an aspiring pre-school set in a new purpose built building in an idyllic orchard. We have a beautiful outdoors area with plans for a Forest School provision.
You will have a good understanding of the EYFS, effective communication skills and ideally have the flexibility to cover staff absences should the need arise. On-going professional development and mentoring support, safeguarding and paediatric first aid training will be provided as required.
Qualifications required: Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare or equivalent, or currently training/prepared to train for Level 3*. GCSE English and Maths
Hours: Up to 16 hours per week over Wednesday/Thursday and Friday. Term time only. Flexibility to cover staff absence as required. The pre-school hours are: 8.45am-12.15pm and 12.15pm-3.30pm.
