Most of our staff are trained or training in Early Years to Level 3. Almost all our staff hold Paediatric First Aid Certificates and at least one First Aider is available at each session. All staff have had Safeguarding training and those that prepare food have Food Hygiene training. Staff also undergo regular training in other areas – either to support their CPD or in response to the needs of the pre-school. All members of staff have enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB)/Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks in line with current Ofsted requirements. All records pertaining to staff qualifications and training are held on a Central Record.
